Quick Facts

  • 7 on/7 off schedule — weekdays 7am – 4:30pm, weekends require 4 hours onsite
  • 8 – 10 inpatient encounters per shift with 3 admissions
  • Cardiovascular surgery team with OR and ICU coverage responsibilities
  • ICU call 1 – 2 nights per week from 5pm – 7am
  • Must be proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting
  • Primarily rounding and medical management with limited OR time
  • Daily cardiovascular surgery team meetings at 7am
  • Adult patient population
